Ingredients to prepare veg biryani:

  • Basmathi rice or pulao rice- 1 CUP
  • Well sliced vegetables ( green peas, egg goose, potato, cauliflower, beans.
  • Onion – 2
  • Garlic – 7 piece
  • Cardamom – 3
  • Elavangam – 1
  • Oil – 2 SPOONS
  • Salt – Your choice
  • Biryani leaves -1
    • Coconut – 1/4 cups
    • Coriander leaves
    • Garlic 6 pieces + green chilli 10 cooks in oil

Steps for making vegetable biryani:

Wash the rice and keep it for 10 minutes and keep the cooker on the stove and add the masala ingredients, onion. after the onion gets reddish color put the washed rice in the cooker and mix this well. add the masala and vegetables in the cooker. mix until it became a beautiful color and flavor.

Add 2 cups of boiled water along with salt in the cooker. then close the cooker top for 10 mins and wait for 10 minutes but it must keep it in the slow heat. Then add the cashew nuts and decorate the veg biryani, it would give the lovely look and attractive fragrance.

Alternative changes to make veg biryani by this procedure:

You can replace the normal onion by small sambar onion. You may add ginger while slice the coriander leaves. you may add a little bit of coconut milk in the veg biryani while cooking. You can use tomato while adding the other vegetables for this biryani.
