Ingredients to make the atho Burmese recipe
- Noodles – 1/2 cups
- Egg goose
- Carrot – 2
- Kesar powder – 1 teaspoon
- Onion – 3
- Sesame oil
- Coriander leaves
- Garlic 10
- Tamarind water – 2 spoon
- Lime juice 5 spoon
- For splash or slice in mixie
- Bengal Gram – roasted- 3 spoons 3
- Red chilli
- Curry masala
Steps to make atho Burmese recipe
First, take a pan and keep it on the stove in medium heat, then put the kesar powder, salt. After the water gets boiled and adds the noodles in the boiled water for some minutes.
After, the noodles get baked, recover the noodles from the hot water and clean it with the cold water, then coat the oil to the noodles. Chop the carrot, onion, egg goose. Slice the Bengal black gram, red chili, salt, curry masala in the mixie. Pour the sesame oil and make the paste into the masala.
In this step you can prepare the crunchy onion toppings, so that place the pan on the stove and fry the onion until it became a reddish color. then recover the fried onion from the pan to the normal plate.
Fry the garlic in the same sesame oil which oil is used to fried the onion. After the given vegetables are chopped, take half of the vegetable into the sperate part and also take the remaining part. The first part of the vegetable is used to cook the atho.
Take another pan and add the first part of vegetables and fry it. Now you must take a normal bowl and add the noodles, masala paste which is prepared in the previous step, fried vegetables. Then add the non-fried vegetables which are separated in the last step.
Mix the noodles well along with the masala and vegetables.
Finally, you can also add the lime juice into the atho, then add the coriander leaves and Tamarind water in the atho.
Now the tasty atho is ready to serve
