Rava cutlet is the best recipes for evening or while eating in a break time. Cutlet is also called as chat foods in north india. There are many varieties of cutlet available in chats shop namely Veg cutlet, onion cutlet, chicken cutlet, Rava cutlet, etc. There have many good things in the rava cutlet and rava is very good for our health. It has the best combination of channa masala, samosa, sauce, etc. I think at least 40% percentage of peoples at least ate this recipe in their lifetime because it was too famous in India and in south India. Ingredients to make Rava cutlet
- Suji 1 cup (Rava)
- Onion 2
- Carrot 1/3 cup ( chopped)
- Beans 1/3 (chopped)
- Capsicum 1/3 (chopped)
- Green peas 1/2 (chopped)
- Oil 2 tablespoons
- Mustard seeds 1/2 spoons
- Lime juice 1 TB spoon
- Curry leaves
- Green chilli
- Bread crumbs
- Ginger (chopped) 1/2
- To make flour paste for cutlet
- Red chiili powder
- Cornflour powder 1/4
- All-purpose flour powder 1/4
Steps to make Rava cutlet
Place the frying pan on the stove and heat up in the medium speed and put the Rava (suji) and keep roast for 2 minutes until it became a red-brown color. If the rava gets over sticky please pour the little bit of oil in the Rava while roasting in the pan. Finally, recover the rava from the pan to the plate.

Now heat the same pan with oil, add the curry, onion, ginger, salt until the onion became a reddish color and spongy. Remember, you must add the mustard seeds before adding the onion.
In this step, please add the vegetable such as beans, carrot, green peas, capsicum and roast it well. If you like to cook fast in this step, then add salt or otherwise don’t take any risk. Cover the pan with the lid for 4 to 5 minutes until it became a smooth and rich color. Open the lid after 5 minutes and mix the vegetable with the help of Spatulas, So that the cutlet won’t break or collide each other. Finally add the coriander leaves, Rava, along with the vegetables. Cook it slowly.
Now add the cup of water, lime juice, and blend it well. Cook the rava which is prepared in the previous step, until the entire water gets evaporate and it would become a solid particle. Recover the rava and store it in the cooling lace until it can able to touch by our hands.
Almost done, Make the cutlet into your own shape by your wish, But my suggestion is the rounded oval shape is better to look.

Add the all-purpose flour, salt, cornflour powder, red chilli powder in a pan and add water to make a thin or solid paste and Mix it well.
To make a nice taste please add, the coriander leaves and bread crumbs.
Now take the Rava cutlet and dip it into the bread crumbs paste and coat the all shape Rava cutlet.
If you think your cutlet is very soft? Then, Don’t worry place the cutlet into the refrigerator for 30 minutes to making your cutlet hard. Then take the frying pan and add oil for fry the cutlet.
After the oil gets heat, Put the coated cutlet into the oil. Fry the cutlet at least for 3 to 5 minutes on medium heat. After finishing your cutlet fry, take the fried cutlet and put it into the absorbent pan to excess the oil.
