Ingredients to prepare channa pulao :
- Basmathi rice
- Chickpeas – கொண்டை கடலை
- Small coconut
- Small onion
- Coriander leaves
- Green chili
- Garam masala
- Biryani leaves
- To be mix in the mixie
- Small onion
- Red chili
- coconut mixture
- ( Add the one teaspoon oil and add red chili, serakam, garlic, onion and cook in the pan, after dry this and again add coconut mixture. )
Procedure to make channa pulao:
Wash the basmati rice in clean water and filter the water in the basmati rice. soak the Chickpeas – கொண்டை கடலை in water for 10 hours then bake the chickpeas in the cooker for 10 minutes. put the tomato in the hot and take the peal of the tomato and mix it in the mixie and filter it.
Take the mixture of the coconut and take the milk which is in the coconut. take the peel of the garlic and pour the oil in the frying pan and add the Cardamom, garlic, biryani leaves, seerakam and cook this till it becomes reddish color. after adding the sliced green chili into the pan for 1 minute.
Add the mixed masala and cook in the medium heat until it makes the best smell. then add the tomato, salt, sugar, garam masala cook for 2 minutes.
Then add the chickpeas and coconut milk in the frying pan. after boil please put the rice and mix it well. close the pan by sealed plate and keep the weight things in the top of the pan. cook the channa pulav exactly for 20 minutes don’t mix it in the middle of the time while it cooks in this step!.
Optional: keep the pan in the dosai Kal or frying plain pan to maintain medium heat
